Working alongside individuals, families, clinicians, organisations, and systems to create more connected, person-centred approaches to care and recovery.

MY APPROACH

My work is collaborative by design - grounded in lived experience, frontline insights and a deep understanding of how people move through systems of care.

I don't believe meaningful change happens in isolation or through top-down solutions.  It happens when people are invited into the process - when their experiences are heard, their perspectives valued, their role in shaping outcomes recognised and every presentation becomes a new opportunity to plant seeds for change.

Whether working one-on-one, within teams or across organisations, my focus is on creating clarity, connection, shared understanding and practical pathways forward.

HOW WE CAN WORK TOGETHER

Individuals & Families
Supporting people to navigate mental health, recovery and care beyond moments of crisis - building understanding, confidence and clarity around what comes next.

Clinicians & Multidisciplinary Teams
Bringing lived experience, frontline insights and skills in care coordination and service navigation to strengthen care and communication and to enhance individual outcomes.

Organisations & Systems

Working with services and organisations to explore gaps, improve continuity of care, and develop more connected, person-centred approaches at both service and system levels.

EDUCATION & RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT

I design and deliver education and resources that bridge the gap between theory and real-world application - grounded in both lived experience and frontline insights.  This includes:

  • workshops and presentations for clinicians and organisations
  • development of educational content and training resources
  • case-based learning and storytelling approaches

  • supporting teams to better understand recovery, communication and person-centred care

Belinda Lipscombe, QLD Health Wellbeing Team Psychologist

Sally's work is at a high level and I can depend on her to ensure tasks are completed on time.  She works well with clinicians, provides a high level of care to clients and proactively seeks ways to improve not only in herself but the greater team and service as a whole.

Erin Bell, QLD Health Wellbeing Team Leader

Sally is passionate about her professional work and always aims to provide the best possible service to clients and their families.  She has demonstrated initiative where there have been areas for improvement and actively sought out feedback from others regarding input on decisions.  If the opportunity presented itself, I would employ Sally in a similar role.

“BEFORE WE FOUND SALLY, WE WERE BARELY KEEPING OUR HEADS ABOVE WATER.  WE HAD TRIED EVERY TREATMENT THAT HAD BEEN OFFERED TO US AND ALL HAD FAILED.  OUR FAMILY UNIT WAS IN DISARRAY, HOPE WAS AT AN ALL TIME LOW AND ANGER AND FRUSTRATION AROUND THE ILLNESS WERE HIGH.  I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO TO HELP AND SAVE THE LIFE OF MY DAUGHTER.  ENTER SALLY, THE FIRST PERSON THAT MY DAUGHTER IMMEDIATELY RESPONDED TO.  FROM THE FIRST SESSION, THERE WAS A RESPONSE FROM MY DAUGHTER THAT WE HAD NEVER SEEN BEFORE... SHE LISTENED, RESPONDED AND GENUINELY TRIED TO IMPLEMENT WAS SALLY WAS TELLING HER.  A WHILE LATER, I ASKED MY DAUGHTER WHAT WAS DIFFERENT ABOUT A RECOVERY COACH AND SHE SAID "SHE REALLY GETS IT AND DOESN'T JUST NOD AND SAYS SHE GETS IT LIKE EVERYONE ELSE DOES.  FROM OUR EXPERIENCE, MY DAUGHTER MUCH PREFERS SESSIONS WITH SALLY AND SHE RESPONDS TO HER LIVED EXPERIENCE FAR, FAR MORE THAN ANY OTHER PROFESSIONAL.
